Of the many kinds of beetles, only
about 60 species are being worked with regularly with by hobbyists. The
Hercules beetle (Dynastes hercules), which most people formerly only saw
through books, is among the several beetle species which hold the title for
maximum weight and unusual ornamentation. Such beautiful beetles, which came to
Japan from afar, will benefit if there is a place online to exchange various
opinions regarding how to breed them in captivity.
